I had a bunch of friends over for a LAN party last weekend, and we decided that we'd all PvP in GW. Of course, all 8 of us could have gone to tombs and played (we did for a few hours), but what honor is there when you cannot smite your own friends? We knew there were plenty of ways for us to play WITH each other, but none for us to play AGAINST each other. All of us were in different guilds and the challenges wouldn't have worked there, so what were we to do?

we tried going into the planned arena, making two 4-player teams and pressing the start button at the same time, but that came to little avail on multiple occasions. The experience was more frustrating than fun, and it left a lot of people hoping we had a LAN for a different game.

My question is this: why not have challenges in the 4v4 arena? you have the technology from GvG battles to make challenges and half the reason big MMO's and console games make money is because of PvP. This may also calm the guild sparring uproar.

We need more PvP options. THis could be one of the easier ones to implement... no new maps or game types per se, just change the amount of people and there you go
